It Takes A Village was born out of a deeply personal experience. For Dr. Katrina Hall Smith, caregiving wasn’t just a professional interest—it was a profound, life-changing journey that began in her own family.
As she cared for her aging parents, Dr. Smith faced the emotional and physical demands that so many caregivers know all too well.
Despite her background in family medicine, she found herself searching for reliable resources, emotional support, and a community that truly understood the challenges of elder care.
